Turns out you aren’t the only one woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of your partner snoring. According to the Spring Interactive Survey based on 1,912 adults ages 30 and older, 84% of adults in the U.S say snoring interrupts their sleep and their bed partners.

The survey was conducted on the behalf of ResMed, an innovator in developing products for the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing and other respiratory conditions. The survey also revealed that 65% of people choose to suffer through the sleepless night and accept the snoring disturbance rather than leave the bedroom or seek a possible solution. Women are more likely than men to abandon their partners and comfortable bed for a chance of better sleep.

People with sleep apnea can have their sleep interrupted up to 100 times an hour as their body fights to breathe. That’s a lot to sleep through! What would it take for you to leave to your bedroom to sleep somewhere else?
