One of the most common sleep disorders that keeps people tossing and turning in bed almost every night is Insomnia. Patients who suffer from insomnia have trouble going to sleep, staying asleep, or both. Insomnia puts people at risk for a wide range of health problems, including anxiety, heart attack and osteoporosis.

The digital analytics company Resonate polled more than 10,000 Americans living with insomnia and found these sleep-deprived folks have a few things in common.

They are:

-35% more likely to be divorced
-32% more likely to become a senior manager in a company
-40% more likely to earn a household income less than $25,000
-28% more likely to distrust a doctor’s recommendation
-48% more likely to smoke

-16% more likely to feel uncomfortable discussing health concerns with a doctor
-32% more likely to take prescription drugs
-42% more likely to be unemployed
