There are many different potential aids available to help you achieve sleep, and Rachelle Norman a music therapist suggests that music may improve your length and quality of sleep.
Research has shown ways in which music can improve sleep in hospitals, nursing homes, and for individuals with ailments and medical conditions, as well as those who’s schedule forces them to sleep on an unorthodox time schedule. Music can help drown out loud uncontrollable noises and is more regular and rhythmic than other sounds such as the television. Finally, while music can be helpful, Rachelle Norman also cautions that over-stimulation could be harmful and does not work for everyone.
