A new pair of high tech glasses called the Re-Timer aims to help correct one’s circadian rhythm, in the event that it becomes thrown off. The Re-Timer could be particularly beneficial to those people that travel frequently, across time zones.

The glasses work by emitting green light, which is designed to mimic sunlight. Professor of psychology Leon Lack, Ph.D. of Flinders University, in Australia, created the Re-Timer. Lack’s specialties include studying sleep in general, and the circadian rhythm, in particular.

It is recommended that the Re-Timer be used for about an hour a day, after waking up, if someone wishes to fall asleep earlier that night. Conversely, if the person desires to fall asleep later, he or she should use the Re-Timer for about an hour prior to going to sleep.

It’s amazing how far technology has come to help improve sleep. Sleep is vital to all aspects of our health physically, mentally and spiritually. Keep moving forward striving for the best sleep possible!
