Need a little help getting to sleep tonight? Meet 25-year old Isle Blansert of Toronto, who helps YouTube users all around the world get a better night of sleep by making videos on her YouTube channel of soothing sounds of brushing, tapping and pouring different items, leading to 16 million views.
In 2012, she decided not to continue her studies in animal care and chose instead to focus on a career as a full-time Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) artist. While there is no scientific research on ASMR videos, the medical community is beginning to pay more attention.
One of Blansert’s followers, Emily Hansen of Houston, TX, said that the videos really helped her overcome sleepless nights as she described as euphoric sensation and her brain relaxing.
If you need a little help remembering how to relax before bed, there is no harm in giving Blansert’s videos a try. It’s drug-free without side effects and YouTube is a free service. Let us know how much it helps you sleep tonight!
